The wind had dropped which made conditions rather more favourable than the last few days. The fishing however, continued to be hard. Pegs were along The Roadside bank and Rainbow Point bank. Half the group fished one bank in the morning, then switched over for the afternoon. Club junior Robbie Asher did well to land three fish and was the overall winner. Congratulations to the other club members who took part and I am glad to say Angus, Isaac and Michael along with Robbie are invited to take part in The National Youth Bank Championship at Ellerdine Fishery in April 2016. Robbie took his fish on a Cats Whisker and one on a flash back Diawl Bach, one on a slow sinker and two on a medium sinker. Our Club Chairman Keith Prowting was asked to present the prizes, all those who came to assist on the day were thanked by James Roche of The Angling Trust. A good day was had by all even if a little tiring! Tight lines to all in the final. RG
