Report

 

Fish were rising freely on and off all day. It was extremely calm to begin with and fish were hard to tempt. As the day went on a breeze picked up.

Fish were all caught on the far bank mostly between Robbo’s Cabin and The Willows. It was best to keep drifting trying different distances from the bank.

 

Kezz had success on a Floater fishing the washing line with a Suspender Buzzer on the point and two Hares Ears on the droppers pulling them back fast over rising fish.

John fished Tube flies on a Di 5 pulled back fast.

Rosemary eventually started catching on a Midge tip with a Suspender Hares Ear on the point a Cruncher on the middle dropper and a colourful Hares Ear on the top dropper. All three flies took fish.

Keith stuck with his Montaddy on a Di 3.
