CFFC
at Blithfield
A
Blustery day with occasional showers, the heaviest being at the end
of the day which was torrential soaking all who were out.
It is
reported that most flies worked with Kezz having a good day on a
floating line and Buzzers. Keith used a Montaddy, Buzzers, FAB and
Diawl Bachs alternating between a Di 3 sweep and a midgetip . Only
seven were out and all caught bar Tom who had fish on and lost them.
Plenty of fish were returned on catch and release
and quite a few blue trout were caught.
John
Parnham had the heaviest fish at 2lb 12oz. At the weigh in Keith and
John Middleton had the same bag weight, to his cost John suggested a
reweigh. Keith came out on top by less than
half an oz! So well done
Keith you managed a win by hook or by crook with 10lb
8oz and a valuable 1/2oz!
While
you all got wet I had a lovely day at Grafham staying dry and took 16
fish over the weekend. Team duty with the ladies!!
