I am asking all members to please take note and report any of the activities listed below no matter who the person or persons involved.
" 1. Trolling. Its not allowed; notices are clear and you will be banned if caught.
2. 'Selective' fishing is not allowed. Permit or Day you take first fish caught - you don't 'swap' bigger fish for small fish as you go, and then your debarb hooks and no boobies on catch and release.
3. Boat behaviour: It is appalling! Bank anglers have precedence. Don't poach their water, drift across their water etc. If you are near the bank don't wait to be asked if bank angler appears - move. Don't cut across or drop anchor in front of drifting boats. Respect other's water - if both boats can cast 25 - 30yrds then 50 yrds between is not unreasonable on 64 acres of water. Some simple manners. Breaking rules, you may be banned with NO REFUND OF DAY TICKET / PERMIT MONIES.
Clearly as fishery becomes successful again it becomes clear why rules are there!
Members of both local clubs should set the highest standards on the water. “
We all want to enjoy our fishing and we must not allow a minority spoil it for the rest.
