CFFC at Rutland

Where are you all?

Only 7 turned up to fish Rutland which has been fishing rather better than many reservoirs in our area. 

Four bagged up with good bags of 8 fish which were mostly taken on Di 5 lines. Flies used were tubes 

in the case of John Parnham , Montaddies for Keith Prowting, and a Sean Dickie for Kezz Saxton. Paul 

Leivers was the first to get his limit and went on to catch and release several more, I assume with a 

Wufta Booby or lures as above. All were taken in or near the boils.

The others did not do so well but all caught fish. Rosemary on small boobys and blob and nymph on 

either a Di 3 or later a 5, and Tom stuck with Di 5 and a booby and Fab. Later he had one on a 

Montaddy.

Keith had the heaviest fish and Paul the best overall bag.
