In third place Kirby FFC with 82lb 6oz
In fourth placeLeicester FFC with 54lb 11oz.
Best overall boat was Kevin Saxton and Keith Prowting39lb15oz 15 fish
Biggest bag John Middleton21lb 3oz
Biggest fish Wayne (Kirby FFC) 4lb 4oz
This is a fabulous result and all the team worked really hard on what was not an easy days fishing
.
We were however fortunate not to have bright sunshine and the high temperatures experienced earlier
in the week which made life more comfortable.
Most of the fish were taken onDi5 sweep lines with Keith,s new Montaddy, the odd blob
and cat,s whisker, otherwise generally black and green of some sort.
Needless to say Rosemary tried higher in the water at times with the midge tip line and took
one on a black / red Cruncher and another on a small Damsel.
Colwick team consisted of
Keith Prowting & Kevin Saxton 39lb 15oz - 15 fish
Tom Morton & Rosemary Gunn 39lb 6 oz
Paul Lievers & John Middleton 28lb 4oz - 11 fish
John Parnham & Roy Henderson 14lb 4oz - 6 fish
A huge well done to all Colwick FFC members have good reason to be proud.
Thanks Rosemary.
