Jed's Colwick report

Very mixed at the moment as the fish start moving out from the banks and onto the bigger buzzer hatches. Boats are beginning to do well with some bag catches of fish to 41/2lb. Last weekend’s  float tube match went well with top weight of 15lb + for 6 fish and best fish of 5 1/2lb. Taster day for nffc also seemed a success. Good to see the lake so busy. Boats did well again today though slowish. Folks catching from the bank too. Buzzers coming into their own though montanas still catching. Countryfile says we are 5 weeks behind with the weather this year and it does seem so.
