Fly pattern, booby variation

Kindly loaned to me by Midgetip and saved my day at Thornton with a couple of fish and a couple lost.
25mm overall. Looks like silver flat tinsel ribbing with pink tail section, pink feather wings look to be tied in with reddish material visible from below. This was fished singly off a short leader with fast sinking line, cold and overcast day with breeze. Medium fo8 retrieve varied. March 2013. On this same day intermediate lines were doing well with various lures, I think white/green did well.

Would welcome any similar style comments with digital image of any fly getting results if available with brief dscription which could then be posted on this blog as a kind of  learning item for less experienced anglers such as myself. Email to me if easiest.

PS Multo thanks Midgetip, will sort out replacement asap.

proof that this fly works anywhere
